a skittish dog, a loyal drug, a little boy that couldn't speak

when red started screaming i realized he led me astray
through violent circles and lines drawn on the tv

same starts and endings but completely different pith

my home, the moss, the dirt, a sanctuary found, i couldn't find
my arms and legs but i'll still get around

such ardor filled my heart, it moved my hands for me, right out of wait
a small investment, quite a quick turn around, unhinge my jaw
swallow whole, i won't need to eat for many, many hours

of bars set in the clouds

gave your limbs and fingers strings, you didn't say a word

i don't know if i can give you
